"I was very happy when the indoor park opened, to finally have a local park to skate. I got involved with the mentoring program at the indoor park. Being a dad with two small kids, I enjoy skating with the younger kids and helping them with their first exposure to skateboarding. Through mentoring, I hope to help provide a fun, positive environment where people of any age can skate and have a good time."

"I see skateboarding as a way to relieve stress and forget about your problems. When you skate- it's just you and your board. Skating helped me stay out of trouble when I was growing up and gave me something to focus on. I am glad to have the opportunity to teach younger skaters the same things I have learned- whether it's tricks or life experiences."

"I like to skate not just for fame and fortune, but also for the fun and the help I lend to other little boys and girls. I like to teach other kids how to skateboard so when they grow up, they can hopefully get some money and pay off their mortgage. My favorite skateboarder is David Gonzalez. He is VERY good at what he does."
